Comment Very nice event, opened by Dougie Vipond, and shined upon in the afternoon by a sun that was somewhat reluctant to begin with.

Lots going on along with the Pipe Band, such as Viking re-enactments, medieval costumes, and falconry.

First event for the band after a couple of week's mid-season "holiday" - a chance to remember how to play again before the competitions get going again in earnest next week.

All in all, a good day out !
